A festive and spooky transformation is RETURNING to Old Town Sherwood business storefronts this Halloween!

PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING CLOSED. 

Old Town businesses collaborate with local families, students, employees, and artists to create fall and Halloween-inspired masterpieces on display for all to see. Bring your family and walk the decorated Halloween route. Winners will be announced online! 

If you are an artist or group interested in painting a window, please email the Center for the Arts at arts@sherwoodoregon.gov

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

• Please keep designs family-friendly and avoid depictions of violence, gore, or fright.
• The goal is to delight and entertain, not shock or scare our community members. Think harvest, autumn, trick-or-treating, jack o’lanterns, and other traditional Halloween themes.

JUDGING & VOTING:

Three *Sherwood celebrity* judges will award top prizes based on the following criteria: creativity, originality, and adherence to theme.  A “People’s Choice” award will be given based on popular vote by citizens walking or driving by. 

Each participating window will have a QR code where people can vote electronically, and paper ballots will be available at the last stop on the map, the Sherwood Center for the Arts, for those who want to vote in person.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING WILL OPEN ON OCT. 23rd-29th

TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE WINDOW ART.
Voting closes Sunday, October 29th. QR codes available at every business along the route. Paper ballots also available at the Center for the Arts Mon-Fri between 9am-6pm.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS: 

September 29: Entry form submission deadline
October 16: Paint pick-up at the Sherwood Center for the Arts between 8:30 am - 6 pm
October 16-22: Participants PAINT WINDOWS
October 22: DEADLINE TO FINISH WINDOWS
October 23-29: PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING & *Sherwood celebrity guest judges*
**Voter may cast votes by paper ballot or QR code. Both available at each participating business.**
October 30: Ribbons placed and winners announced

Window art will be on display through the end of October -- for all to enjoy during the Old Town festivities.
