Family Matinee Series: Anjali School of Dance

The Anjali School of Dance is proud to present "Bharatanatyam - a voyage from east to west." Bharatanatyam is a 2000 year old Classical dance form that originated in the temples of South India. Traditionally a story-telling style of dance, our dancers use traditional dance vocabulary to tell age-old stories that show us how the past can teach us about our current journey to strength. Dancers will also lead audience members through an interactive session. Want to learn how to tell the story of "Red Riding Hood" using traditional Indian classical dance? Come join the fun on February 15th!
