Great art speaks powerfully, inspires fresh thinking, and connects us to our past. Picturing America, a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, tells America’s story through its art in large, high-quality reproductions of selected masterworks of American art from 1100 to 1996. The selection of paintings, sculptures, architecture, and decorative arts represents a broad range of American art.

Memory care... these words go together magically when it comes to art. Whether a former artist re-igniting a lost passion, or someone who has never before picked up a brush, Art finds its way to the residents of Footsteps. Much of the original art comes from Memories in the Making, a program taught by the Alzheimer’s association, providing high quality art supplies to honor the work of folks living with various forms of dementia. Each painting is described in the artists own words, bringing an additional layer of meaning to each piece.
July 13-September 29
In our second year of presenting a Fibers Arts Exhibition, we wish to celebrate the uniqueness of using fibers to create art. The connection of threads together is a long-lived art form. In the modern day, we have the materials to create unique, one of a kind fiber artworks that, can take on many different forms. We have challenged artists to create a unique artwork using fibers such as cloth, wool and threads that can be hung on the wall.
