Winter Fine Art Classes & Workshops

We continue to pivot and reimagine arts education at the Sherwood Center for the Arts. We aim to bring the arts to your home in creative ways throughout this winter season. Following guidance from the State of Oregon, we will continue to serve our students online until it is safe to open our building back up.

All classes are led through the online portal Zoom, led by our professional teaching artists, and facilitated by Arts Center staff. 

Students collect art supplies (in advance) on designated art kit pick-up days. All art pick-ups occur outside the Center, in a contact-free manner. See below for designated art kit pick-up dates.

Creative Kids: Oregon Landscapes! | 7 - 14 years | 4 weeks  <-- Click to register 
Explore and re-create some of the iconic landscapes of our beautiful Oregon! Mediums applied each week include watercolor, acrylic, ink and others. The $15 supply fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class -- Venmo or Paypal only please.

Creative Kids: INSECTS! | 7 - 14 years | 4 weeks <-- Click to register 
We'll create some buzz in this fun, online art class! Explore a bug's life, create caterpillars, butterflies, ladybugs, and other fun garden insects. Students will apply a different medium each week! Mediums may include watercolor, colored pencil, ink and others. The $15 supply fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class -- Venmo or Paypal only please.
