Production Assistance

The Friends of the SCA will provide awards of up to $1,000 to non-profit organizations presenting public performances at the Sherwood Center for the Arts.  The awards are to be used specifically for rental fees at the SCA. The number and level of awards will be based on availability of funds, as well as project and need. Awards will be given for up to 50% of the total rental fee at the SCA, and will not exceed $1,000. When awards are announced, payments will be made directly to the SCA and will be credited toward the applicant’s contract for the applying production.

NOTICE: The Production Assistance Grant application dates for 2026 are as follows: OPENS September 1, 2026, and CLOSES October 15, 2026. This information is not yet updated on the Friends site that hosts the actual application.
