The Sherwood Center for the Arts and the Sherwood Foundation for the Arts are excited to welcome back Missoula Children's Theatre! A little red truck pulls into town, with everything it takes to mount a full scale musical production…except the cast! Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to get your kids involved. On Monday, they’re cast as characters. By Saturday, they’ve gained character – the kind that really counts. Hurry and register, as spots are limited based on age groups!
NOTE TO PARENTS: Rehearsal schedules can vary for each student, depending on their role. Performers will be assigned specific rehearsal sessions each day, as they prepare for the final performance (on Saturday). There will also be a few optional workshops for the students to attend as well. This program is not designed or set up for kids to be dropped off when they are not scheduled for a rehearsal, unless they are attending another camp before or after rehearsal(s). Schedules will be distributed to all cast members after auditions on the first day of the week.

They say an apple never falls far from the tree, and we have Johnny and his good pals, the Apple Seeds, to thank for an ample abundance of apple trees! Johnny and his little buddies traveled across the land on foot, made friends with all kinds of people and animals, and slept under the twinkling stars. Their delicious, heartwarming adventures yielded orchards full of juicy, delectable fruit that took a crunchy bite out of hungry tummies across the west. Even a grumbly wolf is won over by the sweet taste of the apples and the kindness of friends. The tale of JOHNNY APPLESEED is a tasty reminder that kindness is at the core of friendship. All who register will be cast in the play - sign up quickly, as spots are limited. Special theatre workshops included!

Hide with the Camelotians when the ghost of Arthur’s father visits the castle. See the giant tower over the questing knights. Cheer for the King when he makes friends with the terrible dragon. Listen in as Morgan Le Fey and Mordred propose a better plan. Join the Knights and Squires of the Round Table as they try to do the right thing. Hope for the best outcome as your favorite characters of Camelot - Arthur, Guinevere, Merlin, Taleisin, the Raven, and Lancelot wrestle with the challenges faced by their people.
