Día de los Niños! 

In honor of the Mexican community celebrating Día de los Niños this month, we invite children of all nationalities to stop by anytime next Monday - Thursday 3-6pm, for a snacky treat and to add a tissue paper flag to our Papel Picado! We will also be giving each child a free ticket to the upcoming Ballet Papalotl performance happening at the SCA in May!

Día de los Niños, or Día del Niño, is a prominent event in Mexico, held on April 30th, that celebrates with parades, toy drives, and all kinds of kid-friendly activities. It is a day dedicated to recognizing the importance of children in society and promoting their well-being. Now celebrated in more than 40 countries and on different dates (i.e. Brazil celebrates on October 12th and Japan on May 5th), the official celebration in the United States, National Children's Day, and occurs each year on the second Sunday in June.
