Sherwood Library presents- Celebrating Our Heritage: Ugandan Traditional Dance

The library won a grant through the Cultural Coalition of Washington County to provide this event, honoring Juneteenth.

Join us at the Sherwood Center for the Arts as we partner to offer this culturally rich program that brings traditional dance and movement from Uganda. Jojo Namuddu with Blazing for Purpose program offers traditional costumes and rich cultural music to bring out the significant meaning of the dancer's performance. At the end, people are encouraged to join in.
