About Taming of the Shrew

In this classic slapstick romantic comedy, two sisters are well-known in the town of Padua: Bianca, the younger sister, is very popular and beautiful, with several men vying for her affections. Katherina, the older sister, is strong-willed, feisty, and caustic, with no interest at all in love, men, or marriage. Their father, however, has ruled that his younger daughter may not marry until the older one does; and all kinds of high-jinks, subterfuge, and mistaken identities ensue. Who will take on the challenge of wooing Katherina? Who will prove strong enough to fight for true love? Will Katherina finally meet her match, and will both sisters find their happily-ever-after?
