JULY MUSIC CAMPS

Elementary Musicians | 6 - 8 years
For the kid who has really missed making music this year! Through fun musical games, singing, ukulele, active listening and movement, students will create and develop a deeper musicianship and enthusiasm for music. This magic, musical camp is led by one of our favorite singer-songwriters, Ellie Hartman. Every student will need access to a ukulele for this class; ukuleles are available to borrow from the teacher for $8 fee. Please email Ellie Hartman at ehartmanmusic@gmail.com.

AUGUST MUSIC CAMPS

Attention future drummers and percussionists! Learn choreography, drumming technique, and play rhythm games in this 4-day drumming camp. This camp is perfect for beginners. Buckets and drumsticks will be provided.

Beginner Strings Camp! | 7 - 12 years <-- CLICK TO REGISTER
Dive into the exciting world of ORCHESTRA—violins, violas, string basses and cellos! This brand new camp offering engages students in hands-on learning of strings instruments, receiving expert instruction and guidance from Sherwood Youth Symphony director Ken Sceirine. Through music games, enrichment activities, and instrument playing, students will gain valuable ensemble skills and develop new friendships.

New to strings? A limited number of instruments are available for campers to borrow during Strings Camp. Students who own an appropriately-sized instrument are encouraged to bring this instrument to play during camp.
