The Family Matinee Series is excited to welcome back Murray Irish Dance! Celebrate this St. Patrick's Day with Portland's Top Irish Dance Performance Troupe, accompanied by live Irish music and song. Well known for their high-energy performances and vividly attractive costumes, get ready for toe tapping, foot stomping and hand-clapping in the spirit of Irish culture, music and tradition.

The Sherwood Center for the Arts is excited to present the 6th Annual Family Matinee Series! This family favorite tradition brings unique cultural experiences to the Sherwood community. Explore a diverse and highly entertaining season of performances from all around the world.

The Murray School of Irish Dancing offers classes for students of all ages and levels wishing to learn Irish Dancing and wanting to become outstanding Irish dancers. At the Murray school they believe in supporting students through enhancing their self-esteem and confidence. They also encourage students to work hard and strive for excellence. Through their classes, students develop skills that will last a lifetime. Whether dancers want to compete, perform, or just dance for fun, they appreciate all of their students and want them to grow to love Irish Dancing and Music as much as we do. They endeavor to create a safe learning environment for all students through responsibly and mutual respect towards all teachers, other students and parents in The Murray School and dance community as a whole. The school welcomes students of all levels of dance experience and from all cultural backgrounds to learn about Irish Dance, Music and culture and to be part of the Murray team.
