Twisted (Fairy) Tales
6 weeks | 5 - 8 years
This class is for children looking to grow in confidence through games, improvisation, and character creation/development. Classes will focus on different well-known fairy tales which we will then bring to life using our bodies and voices. How does an actor use their body to become the big, bad wolf? What does the giant sound like in Jack and the Beanstalk? We’ll also explore different endings to some well-known fables – what would the three bears have said to Goldilocks had she not jumped out of the window?

Introduction to Improv

Learning to think on your feet, the power of yes, and how props and costume, music and pictures can take the actor on a rabbit hole adventure full of imagination.

Audition Prep 101
6 weeks | 12 - 15 years
Ever thought about auditioning but decided not to because you didn’t know what to expect or what to prepare? This program teaches sample audition situations from simply learning to introduce yourself to partner scene work – all the while giving students the confidence to walk into the unknown while feeling prepared! Students should be comfortable reading from a script and performing both individually and with others. There will also be optional light homework – learning or choosing a monologue to work on.
