Beginning Wheel Throwing
6 weeks | 9 - Adult
Come get your hands dirty in this fun introduction to throwing clay class on a table top pottery wheel. Students will explore centering, opening, and pulling clay into bowls and cylinders. Experience the stages of clay as it transitions from pliable to bone dry, along with the journey of decorating and glazing bisque ware to kiln fired functional pieces. This class is designed for absolute beginners and for those who want to improve their basic throwing skills

Club Mud
5 OR 4 weeks | 6 - 13 years
Students will explore various hand building techniques as they create whimsical and functional pieces including pinch pot critters, crazy face mugs, bobble head or a lidded container. They will experience all the phases of clay as they build, decorate and glaze their work. Students will work on multi-day projects, free build and try out the potters wheel. No prior experience needed.

Register for one or ALL of these family clay nights! This is the perfect time to explore clay, techniques and create some fun pieces with the entire family.  *An adult will need to register with child(ren) 12 and under. All participants will need to register.
